Extra Curricular Activities

At The Kingswinford School you will have the chance to experience and take part in a plethora of extra-curricular and enrichment activities.

There are a large number opportunities per week, before school, at lunchtime, after school and within the curriculum. Aspiring to be a part of this provision will allow you to develop important life skills, time management, involve yourself in diverse interests, learn about resilience and commitment, contribute to school life, raise your self esteem, develop relationships and prepare yourself for next steps.

Evening and Weekend Activities

Please note, many of these activities are organised by external agencies. Charges, terms and conditions may apply. Some activities may not be accessible to the general public. Times of sessions may change therefore it is best to check prior to turning up. For details please see Mr Baggott - Student and Community Engagement Officer.

School Activities

Details are correct at time of uploading to the best of our knowledge and are subject to change. Other clubs and activities will run and be advertised in school during the year. Watch out for new information through form tutors, emails, posters, the school web site, LCD screens or Curriculum Area notice boards. Where cost implications are known - these have been stated. School P.E. kit must be worn for all after P.E. school sports activities unless instructed. Please check with a P.E. member of staff if unsure. Spectators to after school matches must be in school uniform.

Activities may not run after school due to staff meetings/training/parent consultation evenings. Please check with the relevant member of staff if in doubt.

Students, please remember that if you are staying for after school activities or an activity which is not running or cancelled please make sure your parents or carers know where you are and what time you should be finished, back home or need picking up. Fixtures may overrun and/or be at another school.

If possible, make sure you are not travelling home alone. Make sure you can get home safely!

If you are a student and would like to see a club/activity which is not offered, please tell your Student Voice form representative.
